Lince is an AI-assisted image-to-text application designed to turn visual moments into philosophical reflection. This Privacy Policy explains how user-provided images and related data are handled when you choose to use Lince. If you do not agree with the practices described here, you should not upload images or use the AI features of the app.
Lince works only when a user actively uploads an image. The image acts as a trigger for generating reflective text from a philosophical perspective. Without an upload, no AI processing occurs.
Images may depict daily life, environments, or personal scenes. In some cases, images may incidentally include people, faces, or appearance-related elements. Lince does not interpret these elements as personal identifiers and does not treat images as identity data.
When an image is uploaded, it is processed within Lince’s secure internal systems. The processing environment is limited and purpose-specific, designed solely to generate the requested text output.
Lince does not transmit uploaded images to third-party AI platforms, external model providers, or unrelated services. The image is used only once for the immediate generation task and is not reused beyond that scope.
Generated text is based on visual context as a whole, rather than on identifying or isolating specific details within the image.
The handling of images in Lince is strictly limited. Uploaded content is used only to:
· Generate philosophical commentary or reflective prompts
· Support the app’s core image-to-text functionality
The data is not used for advertising, user profiling, behavioral analysis, analytics targeting, or AI model training. Lince does not attempt to draw conclusions about the user based on uploaded images.
Although images may contain human faces or body features as part of a scene, Lince does not perform facial recognition or biometric identification.
No facial features are extracted, measured, tagged, analyzed, or stored. The app does not conduct identity verification or personal identification of any kind. Images are processed as complete visual inputs without separating or examining facial elements.
During processing, temporary data may be generated to complete the AI task. This data exists only within a restricted processing environment and is automatically removed immediately after the text output is produced.
After processing, uploaded images and generated text may appear in the app’s history section. This content is stored only to allow the user to revisit or manage their own results.
Users retain full control over their content. Any image or generated text can be deleted at any time. Once deleted, the content is permanently removed and cannot be restored.
Lince does not sell, rent, or share user-uploaded images or generated content. No data is disclosed to third parties for independent use.
All data handling is designed around minimal exposure, limited retention, and user-directed control.
Uploading an image and requesting AI-generated text is a voluntary action. By doing so, you authorize Lince to process your image strictly for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not wish for your images to be processed in this way, you should refrain from using the image upload and generation features.
Lince is intended for users aged 17 and older. The app does not knowingly process data from individuals under 17. If underage use is identified, access may be restricted and associated content removed.
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in functionality or compliance requirements. Any updates will be reflected by a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
